Real stone presence, engineered to stay on the wall.

Stone veneer gives a wall the weight and texture of full masonry at a fraction of the load and cost. We install both natural thin-stone and high-end manufactured stone, set over a proper scratch coat and lath with the right drainage plane behind it — so the stone reads as part of the structure, not a sticker on the surface.

The look lives in the details most installers rush: tight, consistent joints, planned corner returns, and a colour blend pulled from the whole pallet rather than one box at a time. We dry-lay before we set.

The method

How we install it.

  1. 01

    Substrate & lath

Weather-resistive barrier and metal lath over a sound substrate — the drainage plane the stone relies on.

  2. 02

    Scratch coat

A keyed mortar bed troweled and scored so every stone bonds mechanically, not just by adhesive.

  3. 03

    Dry-lay & blend

Stones laid out and colour-blended on the ground, corners planned, before a single one is set.

  4. 04

    Set & point

Stones set tight to the plan, then joints raked and pointed for a clean, consistent finish.

Why it's worth it

What you get.

Curb appeal that holds value

Stone is the detail buyers and neighbours notice first. Done right, it lifts the whole elevation and never goes out of style.

Engineered, not glued

A scratch coat, lath and drainage plane mean the stone is mechanically anchored and the wall behind it can dry — the difference between fifty years and five.

Pairs with everything

Stone reads beautifully as a base course under stucco, a feature beside ACM, or a full facade. We design the transitions so the materials meet cleanly.

Stone Veneer questions

Good to know.

Natural stone or manufactured — which should I choose?

Natural thin-stone has unmatched depth and no repeat pattern; manufactured veneer is lighter, more uniform and usually less expensive. Both perform when installed over lath and a scratch coat. We will show you samples of each against your existing materials.

Can you add stone to just part of the house?

Yes — a base course, an entrance surround or a single feature wall is one of the highest-impact upgrades you can make, and it ties in cleanly with new or existing stucco.

Does stone veneer need maintenance?

Very little. An occasional rinse keeps it clean, and a breathable sealer can be applied in high-exposure areas. There is no painting and no recurring upkeep.
